Noo the Lord is the Spirit; and whaureʼer the Lordʼs Spirit is thar is liberty.

But we aʼ, wiʼ unveilʼt face, receivin and reflectin the glorie oʼ the Lord, are cheenged intil the self‐same image frae glorie on to glorie, as frae the Lord the Spirit.

Hoobeit, whansoeʼer a heart may turn toward the Lord, the veil is to be liftit aff.

No as we war oʼ oor ainsels able, sae as to reckon onything oʼ oorsels; but oor ability is oʼ God. Wha eʼen made us able to be messengers oʼ a new Covenant, no oʼ letter, but oʼ Spirit; for the letter slays, but the Spirit maks leevin.
