In the letter, Paul commands Timothy to “guard the deposit” (1 Timothy 6:20) by combatting false teachers, protecting the flock of Christ, and structuring the church well. 1 Timothy shows us the incredible privilege of being in God’s church and the high calling of leading it.

It is my hope that as parents we are bringing our children before the Lord daily - trusting Him with their hopes, dreams and futures, as well as their protection, peace, and sustenance. With great care we look after their lives and try to protect their hearts, but it’s all for nothing if it’s not all for Him. As we look to intentionally pray over our children, point them to Christ, and exemplify the joys of godly living, I’m hopeful these 6 prayers will encourage you and bless your family.
