Welcome to Adulting - A 7-Day Devotional by Jonathan “JP” Pokluda.  For many of us, transitioning from school to adulthood is difficult. But sometimes we make it harder than it needs to be. In this devotional, we’ll see how Scripture illuminates topics like relationships, career, and money. Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. That’s the mandate for this week. Can we serve others the way Jesus served us, with zeal, a spiritual fervor and with devoted faithfulness? It’s worth seeing how we can be serving God and serving others like Jesus role-modeled for us over 2,000 years ago.

At the crux of leadership is wisdom. Some say wisdom comes from experience; that’s only partially true. It comes from examined experience. Radical Wisdom is a journey toward wisdom and insight. Providing you with practical wisdom and principles, and guiding you as you examine your experience and develop wisdom. One day at a time.

This is the year of I will. This isn’t the year of I might, I’ll think about it, or I’ll get around to it. This is the year of taking action when it comes to the dreams, gifts, and callings God has given you. What has God put in your heart to do this year?May this be your faith declaration: this year I will!

For a person’s faith to be credited as righteousness, it is imperative to work within the divine paradigm. We are called to work not just to earn our living, but with a quest to excel for eternal purposes. Our work must flow out of Christ’s love, joy and gratitude. There is no striving in it because, in Christ, we are at rest even when we are at work.

Last year we released 21 Days To Connect: Anchoring Your College Life. This year, we want to help you help others connect with this series of devotions. It is designed to encourage you to invest the first 21 days of the semester to helping others find the purpose and joy in Jesus that you have found, along with the connection to a solid community of other believers.

What would it look like to really follow the Holy Spirit by putting Jesus first in life? The book of Colossians is about the person of first importance-Jesus Christ. It is all about Him because He is the supreme One.
