3 Days
All too often, we separate our physical life from our spiritual one. “Walk Fit. Walk Worthy.” integrates the physical with the spiritual through Prayer Walking. This plan shows us how to walk worthy of Christ in our commitment, conduct, and character.
Through this plan, we read Philippians 2 to understand the message Paul was getting across to the church. Seeing things in their proper perspective can change our thinking and, ultimately, our responses to the things around us. Paul, in his letter, brings perspective to who we are, resulting in how we should behave when we choose a life in Christ.
What better model could we provide for our children than feeding on God’s Word (Jer. 15:16) and allowing its content to permeate our lives (Col. 3:16), yielding Spirit-produced godliness? Such godly qualities, as appear in 2 Peter 1:3-7, “render [us] neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” (v. 8). Imagine having this kind of influence in our children’s lives. Let’s consider how to encourage such characteristics.
