When someone dies, it’s often hard to find words to say to comfort the family, even when you know the deceased was a believer. This reading plan offers some advice for comforting and encouraging things to say at a Christian funeral.

To succeed in the business that God has placed in our hearts, we must have faith. However, the enemy of faith is fear. Both cannot be in us at the same time. In this three-day devotional we will examine some scriptures about fear so we can kick it out of our lives. When fear is gone, faith can come so we can succeed in life.

I had no idea how hard it would be to lose someone you love - in stages. It tore me apart when my dear mom was put on hospice. Watching her decline steadily was heartbreaking and the gradual goodbye was physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausting. Here are some helpful and encouraging things I learned as I walked with her through that deep valley, led by our Good Shepherd and Savior.
