Teach them well to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on your doors and gates so that both you and your children will live a long time in the land the LORD promised your ancestors, as long as the skies are above the earth.

Encouragement from a mom who launched her 7 children and lived to tell about it. Robin Meadows is an author and relationship coach. This plan is part one of twelve in this series.
Children are a blessing from the Lord, no matter the circumstances surrounding their birth (Psalm 127:3). If you are a father, thank God for it and decide right now that you are going to be what God wants you to be in your children’s lives, a visible, tangible illustration of Him, no matter what choices you’ve made to this point. Being a good father really is not as complicated as you might think! All you have to do is love your children like your Heavenly Father loves you.
