Hebrews 9:16

This 3-Day Bible study is one in a series of 19 others related to Making Jesus Culture. We look at how to honor and worship God through all elements of culture, including the home, family, church, business, media/arts, government, and education. 

The sky is blue, and radishes taste like socks... Other than those things, it can feel like there is nothing we can truly depend on. However, God ALWAYS keeps His promises! In this plan, we will look at the many examples of when God made a covenant with man and never went back on it!

Life is not easy, and along with the hard days come many negative emotions. Generally, we deal with them by venting, stewing, or hiding. Did you know that many of the Psalms are prayers born out of these strong emotions? These reading plans will explore the raw and honest prayers of fear, pain, guilt, and doubt found in the Psalms, teaching us how to share these feelings with the Lord.  

We read in God’s Word that without the shedding of blood, there can be no forgiveness. And obedience is better than sacrifice. The manifestation of these words play out when Jesus’ obedience led to the shedding of His blood and the ultimate sacrifice is made – for us! This is Plan Five of Nine of the book of Hebrews where we see that although salvation is free for us, there was a great cost that Jesus paid.
