As they approached the village, Jesus walked on ahead, telling them he was going on to a distant place. They urged him to remain there with them and pleaded, “Stay with us. It will be dark soon.” So Jesus went with them into the village. Joining them at the table for supper, he took bread and blessed it and broke it, then gave it to them. All at once their eyes were opened and they realized he was Jesus! Then suddenly, in a flash, Jesus vanished from before their eyes!

Finding your divine calling does not have to be a mystery. Do you chase the question whether you are wasting your life in a certain job, relationship, or church? Most of us are deeply concerned with living meaningful, purposeful lives, yet we spend a lot of energy trying to figure out if we are. This plan is meant to help answer the question, “what is God’s purpose for my life?”
Isolation ≠ seclusion. In isolation, fear is loud; in seclusion, God is heard. Where are you standing in this season of uncertainty: behind the closed doors of fear or in the waiting room of God's sovereignty? As with the disciples, God can change our lives in one visit, but He needs a private moment with us first. Make room for seclusion and God will intercede!
In the days leading up to Easter Sunday, let's take some time to stop, dive deep into Jesus' journey to the cross, and invite Him to bring you fresh revelation of this season. It is helpful to have a journal with you as you reflect on the questions, and to track what God reveals to you in this time!
One of God's great gifts to us is our vocation - we are called to join in with his mission, but we are held back by fear and weakness. Spend three days in the scriptures with us, letting God's word renew and transform your mind, encouraging you to trust in the Spirit's power.
