1this is this book of the birth of Adam: when G-d has created the man, has he him in the likeness of G-d made; 2a male and a female has he them created, and he has them blessed, and has called their name Adam in the day which they are created having become. 3and Adam has lived hundred and thirty year, and has given birth to a son in his likeness, thus like his image, and has called his name Shet. 4and the days of Adam after as he has given birth to Shet, are having been eight hundred year; and he has given birth to sons and daughters. 5and all days which Adam has lived, are having been nine hundred year and thirty year; and he is died.
6and Shet has lived hundred year and five year, and has given birth to Enosh. 7and Shet has lived after as he has given birth to Enosh, eight hundred year and seven year; and he has given birth to sons and daughters. 8and all days of Shet are having been nine hundred year and twelve year; and he is died.
9and Enosh has lived ninety year, and has given birth to Kenan. 10and Enosh has lived after as he has given birth to Kenan, eight hundred year and fifteen year; and he has given birth to sons and daughters. 11and all days of Enosh are having been nine hundred year and five year; and he is died.
12and Kenan has lived seventy year, and has given birth to Mahalalel. 13and Kenan has lived after as he has given birth to Mahalalel, eight hundred year and forty year; and he has given birth to sons and daughters. 14and all days of Kenan are having been nine hundred year and ten year; and he is died.
15and Mahalalel has lived five and sixty year, and has given birth to Yered. 16and Mahalalel has lived after as he has given birth to Yered, eight hundred year and thirty year; and he has given birth to sons and daughters. 17and all days of Mahalalel are having been eight hundred year and five and ninety year; and he is died.
18and Yered has lived hundred year and two and sixty year, and has given birth to Chanokh. 19and Yered has lived after as he has given birth to Chanokh, eight hundred year; and he has given birth to sons and daughters. 20and all days of Yered are having been nine hundred year and two and sixty year; and he is died.
21and Chanokh has lived five and sixty year, and has given birth to Metushelach. 22and Chanokh is walked with G-d after as he has given birth to Metushelach, three hundred year; and he has given birth to sons and daughters. 23and all days of Chanokh are having been three hundred year and five and sixty year. 24and Chanokh is walked with G-d; and he is more not having become, for G-d has him taken away.
25and Metushelach has lived hundred year and seven and eighty year, and has given birth to Lamech. 26and Metushelach has lived after as he has given birth to Lamech, seven hundred year and two and eighty year; and he has given birth to sons and daughters. 27and all days of Metushelach are having been nine hundred year and nine and sixty year; and he is died.
28and Lamech has lived hundred year and two and eighty year, and has given birth to a son. 29and he has called his name Noach, thus to say: the this one will us be a comfort for our work, and for the toil of our hands, from because of the earth which Hashem has it cursed. 30and Lamech has lived after as he has given birth to Noach, five hundred year and five and ninety year; and he has given birth to sons and daughters. 31and all days of Lamech are having been seven hundred year and seven and seventy year; and he is died.
32and that Noach is having become five hundred year old, has Noach given birth to Shem, Cham, and Yephet.
