The Gospel of Luke 24:49

It is helpful to have a journal with you as you reflect on the questions, and to track what God reveals to you in this time!

One of God's great gifts to us is our vocation - we are called to join in with his mission, but we are held back by fear and weakness. Spend three days in the scriptures with us, letting God's word renew and transform your mind, encouraging you to trust in the Spirit's power.

The King James Version phrase "Tarry Ye" is an ancient but powerful command that means to wait, stay, or remain in a place until a specific, promised event occurs. It is not passive idleness, but an active, spiritual positioning where we prepare to receive God’s power. This plan explores the three core facets of this divine instruction: where we wait, how we wait, and why we wait.
