The Gospel of Luke 9:23

All too often, we separate our physical life from our spiritual one. “Walk Fit. Walk Worthy.” integrates the physical with the spiritual through Prayer Walking. This plan shows us how to walk worthy of Christ in our commitment, conduct, and character.

We know that the world and culture we live in offer competing claims against God’s direction and intention for his people. Which will we trust and choose to follow after? For this series, we are going to look at three invitations from Jesus on what God promises us in terms of purpose and fulfillment, and in all three, He beckons us to come to Him and experience life.

Most people are of the mindset that surrendering is inherently bad. In fact, there are examples in history where a decision to never surrender ended up having major consequences. After thinking about how this manifests in a Christian's walk, there are three areas that, if we choose to surrender them to God, can help us grow in our journey with Him. Let’s dig in.

The message of the cross challenges both believers and non-believers, demanding a response. People react in three ways: Rejection, Remorse, or Repentance. Reject – Some dismiss or partially accept Jesus’ sacrifice. Remorse – Others feel guilty but remain unchanged. Repentance – True repentance moves beyond guilt to turning from sin, seeking God’s forgiveness, and allowing His grace to transform our lives.
