1In tha smaa oors o tha furst day o tha week, whan thair wus nae licht yit, Mary Magdalene cum tae tha tomb an saa that tha stane haed bin taen awa frae tha apenin. 2Sae she run bak tae Simon Petèr an tha ither follaer - tha yin Jesus loved - an she saed, “The' hae taen tha Loard oot o tha tomb, an we dïnnae ken whar the' hae püt hïm!” 3Sae Petèr an tha ither follaer heidit aff fer tha tomb. 4Tha baith o thaim wus rinnin, but tha ither follaer run mair quïck ner Petèr an got tae tha tomb furst. 5He stoopit doon an keekt ïn at tha linen claiths lyin thair, but he dïdnae gan ïnbye. 6Then Simon Petèr, that wus behin hïm, got thair an went strecht ïntae tha tomb. He saa tha strïps o linen lyin thonner, 7forbye tha buryin cloot that haed bin roon Jesus's heid. But tha cloot wus lapt up bi ïtsel, awa frae tha linen. 8Sae noo tha ither follaer, that haed got tae tha tomb furst, went inside tae. Wha ïs ït ye'r lukkin?” She thocht ït wus tha gairdner, an she saed, “Sïr, ïf ye hae cairriet hïm awa, tell iz whar ye hae püt hïm, an A'll get hïm.” 16Jesus saed til hir, “Mary!” She turnt roon tae hïm an caad oot, “Rabboni!” (that mains “Dominie” ïn tha Aramaic). 17Jesus saed, “Dïnnae be hingin ontae me noo, fer A'm no yit gan bak tae tha Faither. But gang tae ma brithers an tell thaim thïs frae me: ‘A'm fer gaun bak tae ma Faither, an tae your Faither, tae ma God an tae your God’.” 18Mary Magdalene went tae fin tha follaers an tell thaim tha guid news, “A hae saa tha Loard!” An she toul thaim whut he haed saed til hir.
