1 Samuel 26:24
1 Samuel 26:22-24 The Message (MSG)
David answered, “See what I have here? The king’s spear. Let one of your servants come and get it. It’s GOD’s business to decide what to do with each of us in regard to what’s right and who’s loyal. GOD put your life in my hands today, but I wasn’t willing to lift a finger against GOD’s anointed. Just as I honored your life today, may GOD honor my life and rescue me from all trouble.”
1 Samuel 26:24 King James Version (KJV)
And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the LORD, and let him deliver me out of all tribulation.
1 Samuel 26:24 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
Now behold, as your life was highly valued in my sight this day, so may my life be highly valued in the sight of the LORD, and may He deliver me from all distress.”
1 Samuel 26:24 New Century Version (NCV)
As I respected your life today, may the LORD also respect my life and save me from all trouble.”
1 Samuel 26:24 American Standard Version (ASV)
And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of Jehovah, and let him deliver me out of all tribulation.
1 Samuel 26:24 New International Version (NIV)
As surely as I valued your life today, so may the LORD value my life and deliver me from all trouble.”
1 Samuel 26:24 New King James Version (NKJV)
And indeed, as your life was valued much this day in my eyes, so let my life be valued much in the eyes of the LORD, and let Him deliver me out of all tribulation.”
1 Samuel 26:24 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Now behold, just as your life was precious in my sight this day, so let my life be precious in the sight of the LORD, and may He rescue me from all distress.”
