2 Corinthians 10:14
2 Corinthians 10:13-14 The Message (MSG)
We aren’t making outrageous claims here. We’re sticking to the limits of what God has set for us. But there can be no question that those limits reach to and include you. We’re not moving into someone else’s “territory.” We were already there with you, weren’t we? We were the first ones to get there with the Message of Christ, right? So how can there be any question of overstepping our bounds by writing or visiting you?
2 Corinthians 10:14 King James Version (KJV)
For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ
2 Corinthians 10:14 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
For we are not overextending ourselves, as if we did not reach to you, for we were the first to come even as far as you in the gospel of Christ
2 Corinthians 10:14 New Century Version (NCV)
We are not bragging too much, as we would be if we had not already come to you. But we have come to you with the Good News of Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:14 American Standard Version (ASV)
For we stretch not ourselves overmuch, as though we reached not unto you: for we came even as far as unto you in the gospel of Christ
2 Corinthians 10:14 New International Version (NIV)
We are not going too far in our boasting, as would be the case if we had not come to you, for we did get as far as you with the gospel of Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:14 New King James Version (NKJV)
For we are not overextending ourselves (as though our authority did not extend to you), for it was to you that we came with the gospel of Christ
2 Corinthians 10:14 Amplified Bible (AMP)
We are not overstepping the limits of our province, as if we did not [legitimately] reach to you, for we were the [very] first to come even as far as you with the good news of Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:14 New Living Translation (NLT)
We are not reaching beyond these boundaries when we claim authority over you, as if we had never visited you. For we were the first to travel all the way to Corinth with the Good News of Christ.
