Deuteronomy 15:8
Deuteronomy 15:8 King James Version (KJV)
but thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
Deuteronomy 15:7-9 The Message (MSG)
When you happen on someone who’s in trouble or needs help among your people with whom you live in this land that GOD, your God, is giving you, don’t look the other way pretending you don’t see him. Don’t keep a tight grip on your purse. No. Look at him, open your purse, lend whatever and as much as he needs. Don’t count the cost. Don’t listen to that selfish voice saying, “It’s almost the seventh year, the year of All-Debts-Are-Canceled,” and turn aside and leave your needy neighbor in the lurch, refusing to help him. He’ll call GOD’s attention to you and your blatant sin.
Deuteronomy 15:8 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks.
Deuteronomy 15:8 New Century Version (NCV)
But give freely to them, and freely lend them whatever they need.
Deuteronomy 15:8 American Standard Version (ASV)
but thou shalt surely open thy hand unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need in that which he wanteth.
Deuteronomy 15:8 New International Version (NIV)
Rather, be openhanded and freely lend them whatever they need.
Deuteronomy 15:8 New King James Version (NKJV)
but you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his need, whatever he needs.
Deuteronomy 15:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)
but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend to him whatever he needs.
