Then Job answered the LORD: “I am unworthy—how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.

Then Job answered the LORD and said: “Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.

Then Job replied to the LORD, “I am nothing—how could I ever find the answers? I will cover my mouth with my hand.

Then Job answered the LORD: I am so insignificant. How can I answer you?  I place my hand over my mouth.

Then Job answered the LORD, and said, Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.

Then Job answered the LORD and said: “Behold, I am vile; What shall I answer You? I lay my hand over my mouth.

Job answered: “I’m speechless, in awe—words fail me. I should never have opened my mouth! I’ve talked too much, way too much. I’m ready to shut up and listen.”

Then Job answered the LORD and said, “Behold, I am insignificant; what can I say in response to You? I put my hand on my mouth.

Then Job replied to the LORD and said, “Behold, I am of little importance and contemptible; what can I reply to You? I lay my hand on my mouth. [Ezra 9:6; Ps 51:4]

Then Job answered the LORD: “Indeed, I am completely unworthy – how could I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth to silence myself.
