“As you summon to a feast day, so you summoned against me terrors on every side. In the day of the LORD’s anger no one escaped or survived; those I cared for and reared my enemy has destroyed.”

You summoned as if to a festival day my terrors on every side, and on the day of the anger of the LORD no one escaped or survived; those whom I held and raised my enemy destroyed.

“You have invited terrors from all around, as though you were calling them to a day of feasting. In the day of the LORD’s anger, no one has escaped or survived. The enemy has killed all the children whom I carried and raised.”

You summon those who terrorize me  on every side,  as if for an appointed festival day; on the day of the  LORD’s anger no one escaped or survived. My enemy has destroyed those I nurtured  and reared.

Thou hast called as in a solemn day My terrors round about, So that in the day of the LORD's anger None escaped nor remained: Those that I have swaddled and brought up hath Mine enemy consumed.

“You have invited as to a feast day The terrors that surround me. In the day of the LORD’s anger There was no refugee or survivor. Those whom I have borne and brought up My enemies have destroyed.”

“You invited, like friends to a party, men to swoop down in attack so that on the big day of GOD’s wrath no one would get away. The children I loved and reared—gone, gone, gone.”

“You called as on the day of an appointed feast My terrors on every side; And there was no one who survived or escaped On the day of the LORD’S anger. As for those whom I brought forth healthy and whom I raised, My enemy annihilated them.”

You [LORD] called as in the day of an appointed feast My terrors (dangers) on every side; And there was no one who escaped or survived In the day of the LORD’S anger. Those I have cared for and brought up with tenderness, My enemy annihilated them.

As if it were a feast day, you call enemies to terrify me on every side. On the day of the Lord’s anger no one escaped or survived. My enemy has finished off those healthy infants whom I bore and raised.
