In this 3-day Bible Plan, we will explore how through the Bible, God communicates the unified story of his plan to redeem and reconcile all people to himself through the life and death of Jesus. And how the Bible is the big story of God making his home among us. This 3-day Bible Plan is part 2 of 4 designed to go along with the Catechism 'The Big Story' small group series.

This Bible reading plan is something of a paradox. Over the next five days, we’re going to look both at the Bible and outside the Bible. We’re going to learn to read God’s word in context of His world. So come, join us. Listen to the birds and the skies and the seasons. Listen to the Scripture and Spirit. Listen as they sing of God’s glory together.

The book of Isaiah contains rich imagery, prophecies about the coming Messiah, and reminders of God’s faithfulness towards his people. The prophet Isaiah recounts God’s faithfulness to the Israelites and speaks of his hope in a future redemption through Jesus. On this plan, you will learn more about God’s justice and compassion and how he is present and near to those who are suffering.

From the triumphal entry and welcome of “Hosanna,” to the final claim of “He’s alive,” we see many dramatic shifts in the relationship between the crowd and King Jesus during His last week in Jerusalem.
