You’re Alive

“You’re Alive” is a good ol’ Easter Sunday song that focuses around the resurrection of Jesus Christ – that’s the good stuff. I don’t know about you, but whenever Easter weekend comes, I can’t wait to get to Sunday morning where we get to celebrate Jesus Christ – risen from the dead!

I find in my own life though, it can be so easy for us to forget that we serve a risen and victorious Jesus. Don’t get me wrong, we KNOW it in our heads, it’s the foundation of the gospel. But, do we believe it in our lives? I’m not talking about do we profess it, but do our daily actions reflect it?

When Jesus rose from the dead, He rose again victorious not just over the cross, and not just over Satan, but over everything. That is GOOD NEWS! Jesus’ resurrection holds the same power today for us that it did when he walked out of the grave. It's time that we grab hold of that truth and live our lives in a way that reflects the victory of Christ.

Whatever you’re facing today, know that Jesus is alive and victorious. Call upon Him to bring victory over your situation.
