His gospel reminds us that Jesus offers joy to the financially poor, the socially marginalized, and the spiritually broken. Mary from Nazareth, third-shift shepherds, and notorious tax collectors all found hope and salvation in Jesus. By reading Luke’s gospel, we can too.
