What did Jesus know and understand about His impending death? What caused Him such anguish and made Him so despondent that He felt like He could literally die at that moment? As I’ve pondered these questions, I believe there are at least three things that Jesus knew would transpire in the next 24 hours that terrified and overwhelmed Him.
