The Pursuit - 12 Weeksنموونە

After feeding thousands with just five loaves and two fish, Jesus’ popularity soared. The crowd followed Him eagerly — but for the wrong reasons. They wanted more bread, not a deeper relationship. They wanted full stomachs, not changed hearts.
That’s when Jesus said something shocking: “I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again.” The people were confused — some even offended. They wanted Jesus to meet their physical needs, but He was offering something far greater: spiritual life that never runs out.
We often chase after things that temporarily satisfy — success, approval, comfort. But none of them can fill the hunger of the soul. Jesus is saying, I’m what you’re really craving. The same way bread gives strength to the body, His presence sustains our spirit. Only a real relationship with Him can satisfy the emptiness that nothing else can touch.
When we read Scripture, it’s not just to get our “daily bread” in a checklist sense — it’s to feast on Jesus Himself. He is the living Word who fills every longing heart.
Reflection:
What “bread” are you chasing that doesn’t last? How can you make time this week to truly feed on the Bread of Life through prayer and Scripture?
