God With Us: The Sign of Immanuel
From the first breath after the fall, God began to move toward us. His love would not rest while distance remained. Through Isaiah, His voice broke through the centuries: “The Lord Himself will give you a sign” (NIV). This sign was not a symbol drawn by human hands. It was a miracle born from mercy, heaven choosing to dwell with earth.
Immanuel. God with us. Three words that carry the weight of eternity. The Holy steps into human frailty, the Infinite wrapped in time. The Creator takes on the dust of His creation and calls it beloved. What no priest could bridge, no offering could secure, God accomplished by coming Himself.
This is the heart of the gospel, not God observing from afar but entering the story He wrote. Every longing finds its answer here. His light reaches even to the places we thought were forgotten. Wherever you stand today, in peace or in ache, in fullness or in longing, Immanuel whispers the same promise: You are not alone. I am with you.
Let that truth settle like light over the waters until wonder begins to rise.
