Revelation 19 is a chapter in the Bible that presents a great multitude in heaven praising God and singing hallelujah. This praise is centered upon the Lamb of God. The Lord Jesus Christ is revealed as One riding a white horse. Jesus is described as a King with eyes as a flame of fire, with many crowns. He is shown returning to the earth, as He promised.

Christians are different. They can’t help it. When you’re in Christ and filled with the Spirit, it changes you. This leads to weird ideas and alternate beliefs about reality. It is my opinion that most discipleship models fail to embrace how the journey of everyday life can mature and grow us into mature followers of Christ. I suggest that we need a helpful metaphor or “parable” that can help us picture what discipleship looks like in all its colors, ups and downs, and ebbs and flows. Music can help!
