Let’s explore how we can influence the culture with the truth of God’s word through 1 and 2 Corinthians! These two letters are a powerful message from the Apostle Paul to a church that was passionate about its mission but needed direction to remain true to its Christian faith and doctrines. Those priorities make his letters important teaching for every Christian.

This Advent Guide comes from students, faculty and staff at Belmont University. Advent is that season of waiting that carefully and purposefully helps us to realign our priorities and to glimpse, anew, our place before God. Our humble hope is this guide helps people focus more fully on Jesus Christ through the Advent season.

Screens dominate our daily experience, especially the one in our hands. The allure is taking priority over connection with God. But we can’t blame technology for our upside-down priorities. Digital innovations have put bibles in pockets and worship services in living rooms. We can learn to accept the good, reject the bad, and follow Jesus through it all by living an analog life in a digital world.

Mandates for Men: Serve Others is a 30-day devotional plan that calls for men to rise to the biblical mandate of serving others. Rooted in humility, love, action, and purpose, this journey challenges men to reflect Christ daily by embracing a servant-hearted mindset. Deeper into Scripture is a methodology of scripture reading that instructs, encourages and equips people to read God’s Word daily and deeply. We have created a unique four-fold method of bible reading that directs the individual to read a short passage of scripture four times. Each reading is done with a different question, instruction or objective to be considered. This repetitive reading and instruction takes us deeply into the Word of God and draws us closer to Him.

This Bible plan was created to help you dig deeper into God's Word for yourself, and see what it is saying about who God is, and how you will live in light of that truth. Rather than providing devotionals, we give you three important questions to ask yourself and write down the answers that God is speaking to you.
