Jesus Listens for KidsSample

Dear Jesus,

I’m grateful that Your mercies never stop. They are new every morning. I can begin each day with confidence, because I know that Your endless supply of blessings is waiting for me—even if I messed up yesterday or things didn’t go how I planned.

I know that You hear all my prayers. Not a single one slips by You. This helps me wait for Your answers and not give up. While I sit in Your Presence, help me soak up Your never-ending love and mercy like a tree planted near a river that never runs out of water. These blessings from You keep my spirit healthy. I don’t have to worry, because You always take care of me.

Even though You haven’t answered some of my prayers yet, I trust that You know what You’re doing and You are faithful. You keep all Your promises in Your own perfect way and Your own perfect timing. If I get tired of waiting, please remind me that You are waiting too—waiting to show me Your mercy and comfort. You wait for just the right time to bless me with all the things You’ve lovingly prepared for me. While I’m spending time with You, I like to remember Your promise that everyone who waits for Your help will be happy.
