Day One
Faith-Filled Prayer Protects Peace
Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:6-7 (TPT)
People can equate being worried as a way to show loyalty and care, but this is not the Bible’s way. Philippians 4:6 tells you not to worry. Examine anything you are worried about today and apply prayer, faith, gratitude, and trust. God promises to give you peace. Peace is a sign that your faith is working. Your situation might not look any different immediately, but peace says change is coming. You are no longer pulling between faith and worry.
Prayer
Father, I surrender double-minded thinking to you. I ask you to help me trust you daily with the things I face. I repent of worry. God, I receive your peace today. Thank you for the gift of peace in the name of Jesus. Amen.
