Miracle in Your Mouth

The third key to receiving divine healing is to relentlessly declare God’s word over yourself and your situation. Hebrews says that God’s Word is living and active and full of power. Meditate on each of the italicized words for a moment. First, God’s Word is living. 2 Timothy says that all of Scripture is God-breathed. He literally breathed the same life-giving breath that created mankind from dust of the ground into His written Word and infused it with life and supernatural power. You can’t say that about any other written words. Second, God’s Word is active. It’s not passive. It’s not neutral. When you speak it over your health, body, life, situation, it goes to work. God keeps watch over His Word to perform it. When you declare out loud specific Scriptures that apply to your situation, the God of the universe watches over it to perform the promises contained in those scriptures. And because it is performed by the most powerful force in the universe, it is full of supernatural, wonder-working power.

God’s Word is like a fire that can consume sickness, disease, cancer, infection. It’s like a hammer that breaks tumors, blockages, and aneurysms into pieces. But we have to do the first part of the verse: Speak His Word faithfully. Find some healing Scriptures in God’s Word and declare them over yourself daily. By doing this, you are agreeing with it and giving it permission to come to pass. When you make these declarations several times a day, they will get down in your spirit, and you will start believing them. Your faith will rise, and you will live with expectancy about receiving the promises of God. They will also renew your mind so you are able to resist negative thoughts, fear, doubt, and discouragement. There is a miracle in your mouth when you regularly declare God’s Word over yourself!

This does not work like a magic wand where you get immediate results every time. You have to make these declarations with persistence, determination, and faith. Here are a few declarations to get you started:

·God is my Healer, and He will restore me to perfect health.

·Jesus bore my sicknesses and pains upon Himself at the cross, and by His stripes I am healed.

·God heals all my diseases.

·The healing power of God is flowing through my body. My blood and every cell, tissue, gland, and organ is healthy, strong, and functions the way God designed it to.

·The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me and gives life, strength, energy, vim, vigor, and vitality to my mortal body.
