Ever felt like you’re just going through the motions, kind of asleep to what’s really going on inside you? Jesus challenges us to wake up—not only to Him but also to ourselves. When we’re fully aware of His presence, we start noticing what’s really happening in our hearts. Jesus knew exactly who He was and what He was feeling, but He still chose to surrender His will to the Father’s. That’s something we can all learn from. Self-awareness isn’t just about recognizing what’s around us, but also about taking a deep look inside. It’s about seeing what we truly think, feel, and desire. So, how aware are you of yourself right now? Are you tuned in to your thoughts and emotions?

Live:

It’s time to wake up to what’s going on inside you. Take a second to pause and notice your inner world—don’t judge it, just see it. What are you thinking, feeling, or even worrying about? Can you name it? Whether it’s a thought, feeling, memory, or worry, just be aware of it. Once you’ve done that, talk to God about it. Be real with Him. What are you longing for, deep down? Reflecting on this can help you grow in awareness of who you are and how God’s working in your life.

Questions to ask yourself:

• How aware am I of my true thoughts and feelings right now?
• What can I let go of to become more present with God and myself today?

Pray:

Jesus, I ask for grace to become more aware of Your presence in my life. Help me to wake up to what’s really going on inside me, so I can live more fully in Your truth. Amen.
