God Our RefugeSample

Take shelter in the person of Jesus
Our hearts long for a life free of pain, struggle and hardship. The ache for peace and ease is real, but we know that this perfect peace only comes on the other side of heaven. Yet, in Christ’s incredible love for us, Jesus doesn’t leave us to navigate this life alone. Even in the midst of our storms, He offers a refuge for our souls. That refuge is His presence.
The presence of the Lord is the shelter we need when the situation feels overwhelming. It’s where our souls find rest and safety, even when chaos surrounds us. In Him, we discover a peace that surpasses all understanding, a stillness in the storm. His strong hands hold us close, preserving us through every trial.
And He doesn’t stop there. God promises to surround us with songs of deliverance... the sound of victory, the melody of triumph. When we run to Him, we are not just sheltered; we are reminded that He has already overcome. The very act of turning to Him is a declaration that we belong to the One who is greater than all our troubles.
So close your eyes, lock the eyes of your heart with Jesus and let this truth comfort you: You are not alone in this storm. Run to Him, fall into His arms, for He is your hiding place. Whatever challenge you’re facing today, His presence will surround you with peace. You will emerge with a song of escape.
Declare this promise over yourself, your loved ones, and your future. His refuge is real, and His victory is sure.
