I'm New! What Do I Do?

DAY 31 OF 35

You Can See God

Seeing God in Life

What if I told you that you could see God? You might think, “What?! I thought God was invisible to our natural eyes.”

Yes, He is, but you can still see Him in life. You can see Him in His works, like creation, and in the ways He is working in your own life. Just as the Apostle Paul’s life was changed when he saw God, your life will also change as you see Him.

The more you focus on God, the more you will see Him working. You will notice Him growing you to be more like Jesus. You will see Him at work in your family, on the job, in your community, and around the world. God is very active every day. The closer you pay attention, the more you will see of Him.

Here is the best part: what you behold, you become. When you gaze on God, you grow to be like Him. When you see God and become like Him, you will grow to know His heart. Knowing His heart allows you to see Him as just in all His ways.

Principle 3: You Can See the Just One

If you don’t see God’s heart in the midst of life’s events and an evil world, you may become confused and see God as unjust. But if you know God’s heart and character, you will be settled and trust that God is just in all His ways. Watch for God every day, and you will see Him working. Know His character and heart, and you will see Him as the Just One.

Prayer

“God, let me see You with the eyes of faith. Let me see and know Your heart and Your works. You are the Just One! Amen.”
