21 Days Prayer & Fasting "Align in Promise"

DAY 1 OF 21

LIVING WITH GOD’S PROMISE AS THE ULTIMATE GOAL

The journey of faith often begins with burning passion. When we first come to know the Lord, we are full of zeal—faithful in prayer, consistent in worship, and eager to serve. Yet over time, the routines and pressures of life can cause us to lose direction. Not because we have stopped walking, but because our eyes are no longer fixed on the right destination. The world offers many things—busyness, achievements, even worries—and slowly, our focus begins to drift.

Today’s Word reminds us: don’t just start with passion, finish with the right direction. That direction is not toward personal success, comfort, or human recognition, but toward Christ Himself — the Author and Finisher of our faith.

During these 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, let us take this time to realign the focus of our lives. We pause not because we are weary, but because we want to ensure that our steps continue to lead toward Jesus. He is the life compass that never fails. When our eyes are fixed on Him, even the unclear paths become clear.

Jesus Himself has walked this journey of faith. He knows what it means to be tested, rejected, and wounded. Yet He did not give up, because His eyes were set on the joy before Him — our salvation. Likewise, we are called to look not at the temporary pressures of life, but at God’s promises that never fail.

When we fix our eyes on Jesus, we find:
Strength in the midst of pressure,
Direction in the midst of confusion,
● And joy in the midst of a long process.

Keep your eyes on His promises, not on the pressure. The path may test your strength, but His purpose never fails.

PRAYER POINTS

● Pray that our eyes would once again be fixed on Christ — undistracted by busyness or life’s pressures.

● Pray that our families and churches would live with an eternal vision — walking in the right direction in Christ.

● Pray that the Holy Spirit would empower us to remain faithful until the end — finishing the journey of faith with our eyes fixed on Jesus.
