2 Corinthians 6:14

This plan is a continuing discussion on running the “race set before us” from the book of Hebrews, chapter 12, verse 1. In each of three parts, we will discuss one disciplined commitment that successful Christ followers may utilize to finish their race, still running strongly. The disciplines follow us through all stages of life and we never outgrow our need/benefit from their application.

Singleness, though often seen as failure or delay, is a season God uses to teach us about His redemption and joy in Him. This devotional reflects on lessons learned through disappointment, showing that God’s timing is perfect and He Himself is our true match.

The Bible has a lot to say about light, starting on the very first page and going all the way through to the last page. Followers of Jesus Christ are called to "live in the light" - and that means something very different than "get some sun" or "catch some rays." After all, God didn't just make light. He IS light.
