But the Bible doesn’t teach us how to be controlling or avoidant - it teaches us how to endure hardships with grace and how to respond to darkness with hope. We live in an anxious age. It’s easy to worry about our family and friends, our health, and our finances. In an age where war and conflict seem closer than ever, what does it mean to live without anxiety or fear? How can we bring our worries to God?

There's no shame in being sad. The life we've been given was never promised to be free of pain or sorrow. It is critical however that during the times we are hurting most, we run to God and his Word for peace and comfort.
