Exodus 11:1-7

As we read through the first 12 chapters of Exodus, we hope you see the beginning of the story of Moses through new eyes. Eyes that see the wondrous and powerful God who orchestrated every moment of Moses’ life so he would be the one who would lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

But Moses simply followed God’s will one step at a time daring to follow God from the known to the unknown. He did the next thing, took the next step in obedience, seeking to know and follow the will of God.

Exodus begins with God hearing the cries of His people and rescuing them from slavery in Egypt. Through Moses, God shows His power in signs and wonders, delivers His people at Passover, and parts the Red Sea. This plan will help you see God as the One who rescues—not just long ago, but today.
