I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me. I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side.

I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the LORD sustained me. I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.

I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the LORD was watching over me. I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side.

I lie down and sleep; I wake again because the  LORD sustains me.  I will not be afraid of thousands of people who have taken their stand against me on every side.

I stretch myself out. I sleep. Then I’m up again—rested, tall and steady, Fearless before the enemy mobs Coming at me from all sides.

I rested and slept; I awoke, for the LORD protects me. I am not afraid of the multitude of people who attack me from all directions.
