Close the book on Evil, GOD, but publish your mandate for us. You get us ready for life: you probe for our soft spots, you knock off our rough edges. And I’m feeling so fit, so safe: made right, kept right. God in solemn honor does things right, but his nerves are sandpapered raw. God is already in action— Sword honed on his whetstone, bow strung, arrow on the string, Lethal weapons in hand, each arrow a flaming missile.

God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day.

God is a righteous judge, And a God who has indignation every day.

God judges by what is right, and God is always ready to punish the wicked.

God is a righteous judge, Yea, a God that hath indignation every day.

God is a righteous judge, a God who displays his wrath every day.

God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day.

God is an honest judge. He is angry with the wicked every day.

God, your righteousness is revealed when you judge. Because of the strength of your forgiveness, your anger does not break out every day.
