In a year labeled in 2020, we thought it would be great to develop a devotional on how we Focus our eyes on Jesus. We will look at five different times the Bible talks about seeing Jesus and the situation. Join us as we step into revealing, powerful and personal encounters with the Savior.

Sharing the gospel can be unpredictable. How it’s received often has nothing to do with you, because the outcome is not up to us; it’s up to God. We see this in Acts. This 5-day plan continues a journey through Acts, the Bible’s gripping sequel of Jesus at work in the life of His followers as He expands His kingdom to the ends of the earth. It’s a journey on what it means to be a Christian. It’s a story in which you have a role to play.

Holy Week is an incredibly important time in the Bible. It includes Jesus’ final days here on earth, his arrest, his crucifixion, and his resurrection. This 7 day reading plan walks you through the events of the Holy Week and concludes with Jesus rising from the dead defeating death and sin in Victory!

Each day examines pivotal events: His triumphal entry, confrontation in the temple courts, teachings on end times, sacrificial acts of love, submission in Gethsemane, suffering on the cross, and victorious resurrection. The Lent Project is an initiative of Biola University's Center for Christianity, Culture and the Arts.
