Jesus spoke to the Pharisees again. He said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will have a life filled with light and will never live in the dark.”

You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

So Jesus said to those Jews who believed in him, “If you live by what I say, you are truly my disciples.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be absolutely free.

When they persisted in asking him questions, he straightened up and said, “The person who is sinless should be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Jesus answered them, “I can guarantee this truth: Whoever lives a sinful life is a slave to sin.

Then Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Where did they go? Has anyone condemned you?” The woman answered, “No one, sir.” Jesus said, “I don’t condemn you either. Go! From now on don’t sin.”
