Exodus 3:11-13

Identity is a conflict people face as part of their development, but today many face an identity crisis. When we identify with God and know who He is, we get a clear picture of who we are. Until you know that, you will have a misperception of your identity.

We all have had difficult conversations—with our friends, spouses, children, etc. But what about having difficult conversations with God? In this plan, we talk about three different conversations: the conversation after you’ve just royally screwed up, the conversation when your future seems bleak, and the conversation when your emotions are raw.

In this three part series, learn how God equips his people in their callings through the story of Moses, who was called to lead the Israelites out of their slavery in Egypt. In God, Christians can find confidence, strength and assurance to live out their calling!

Moses spends a chapter and a half in the book of Exodus trying to convince God that he was not the man for the job. With excuse after excuse, Moses made every effort to get out of God’s request to help set His people free. Throughout this devotional, we, like Moses, will learn to move toward the missions God has given us even when we are not motivated.
