He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

He brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and peace to the Jews who were near. Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.

He came and proclaimed the good news  of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.  For through him we both have access  in one Spirit to the Father.

and came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Christ brought us together through his death on the cross. The Cross got us to embrace, and that was the end of the hostility. Christ came and preached peace to you outsiders and peace to us insiders. He treated us as equals, and so made us equals. Through him we both share the same Spirit and have equal access to the Father.

And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near; for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

AND HE CAME AND PREACHED THE GOOD NEWS OF PEACE TO YOU [Gentiles] WHO WERE FAR AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE [Jews] WHO WERE NEAR. [Is 57:19] For it is through Him that we both have a [direct] way of approach in one Spirit to the Father.

And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near, so that through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.
