“What is truth?” retorted Pilate. With this he went out again to the Jews gathered there and said, “I find no basis for a charge against him.

Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him.

“What is truth?” Pilate asked. Then he went out again to the people and told them, “He is not guilty of any crime.

“What is truth? ” said Pilate. After he had said this, he went out to the Jews again and told them, “I find no grounds  for charging him.

Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find no fault in Him at all.

Pilate said, “What is truth?” Then he went back out to the Jews and told them, “I find nothing wrong in this man. It’s your custom that I pardon one prisoner at Passover. Do you want me to pardon the ‘King of the Jews’?”

Pilate *said to Him, “What is truth?” A nd after saying this, he came out again to the Jews and *said to them, “I find no grounds at all for charges in His case.

Pilate said to Him [scornfully], “What is truth?” A nd when he had said this, he went out to the Jews again and told them, “I find no guilt in Him [no crime, no cause for an accusation].

Pilate asked, “What is truth?” When he had said this he went back outside to the Jewish leaders and announced, “I find no basis for an accusation against him.
