Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the LORD delivers them in times of trouble. The LORD protects and preserves them— they are counted among the blessed in the land— he does not give them over to the desire of their foes.

Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble the LORD delivers him; the LORD protects him and keeps him alive; he is called blessed in the land; you do not give him up to the will of his enemies.

Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble. The LORD protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies.

Happy is one who is considerate of the poor; the LORD will save him in a day of adversity.  The LORD will keep him and preserve him; he will be blessed in the land.  You will not give him over to the desire of his enemies.

Blessed is he that considereth the poor: The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: And thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

Dignify those who are down on their luck; you’ll feel good—that’s what GOD does. GOD looks after us all, makes us robust with life— Lucky to be in the land, we’re free from enemy worries. Whenever we’re sick and in bed, GOD becomes our nurse, nurses us back to health.

How blessed is the one who treats the poor properly! When trouble comes, the LORD delivers him. May the LORD protect him and save his life! May he be blessed in the land! Do not turn him over to his enemies!
