Then I thought, “To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand. I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”

Then I said, “I will appeal to this, to the years of the right hand of the Most High.” I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds.

And I said, “This is my fate; the Most High has turned his hand against me.” But then I recall all you have done, O LORD; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.

So I say, “I am grieved that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”  , I will remember the  LORD’s works; yes, I will remember your ancient wonders.  I will reflect on all you have done and meditate on your actions.

And I said, This is my infirmity: But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High. I will remember the works of the LORD: Surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work, And talk of thy doings.

And I said, “This is my anguish; But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.” I will remember the works of the LORD; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds.

Will the Lord walk off and leave us for good? Will he never smile again? Is his love worn threadbare? Has his salvation promise burned out? Has God forgotten his manners? Has he angrily stomped off and left us? “Just my luck,” I said. “The High God retires just the moment I need him.” Once again I’ll go over what GOD has done, lay out on the table the ancient wonders; I’ll ponder all the things you’ve accomplished, and give a long, loving look at your acts.

Then I said, “It is my grief, That the right hand of the Most High has changed.” ¶I shall remember the deeds of the LORD; I will certainly remember Your wonders of old. I will meditate on all Your work, And on Your deeds with thanksgiving.

And I said, “This is my grief, That the right hand of the Most High has changed [and His lovingkindness is withheld].” ¶I will [solemnly] remember the deeds of the LORD; Yes, I will [wholeheartedly] remember Your wonders of old. I will meditate on all Your works And thoughtfully consider all Your [great and wondrous] deeds.

Then I said, “I am sickened by the thought that the sovereign One might become inactive. I will remember the works of the LORD. Yes, I will remember the amazing things you did long ago! I will think about all you have done; I will reflect upon your deeds!”
