And, just as the Holy Spirit opened their minds to understand the things Jesus taught them, we will ask the Spirit to similarly illumine us (John 14:26; 16:12-15).

Exodus begins with God hearing the cries of His people and rescuing them from slavery in Egypt. Through Moses, God shows His power in signs and wonders, delivers His people at Passover, and parts the Red Sea. This plan will help you see God as the One who rescues—not just long ago, but today. His promises are stronger than your doubts, and His rescue leads to freedom.

Exodus is one of history's greatest epics, and Moses one of its greatest heroes. Movies have been made, books written, and the entire Bible refers back to the events in this book.
