2 Timothy 2:11-13

Infinitum is a way of life centered on following Jesus by loving God and loving others through an emphasis on the habits and disciplines of surrender, generosity, and mission. Written near the end of Paul’s life, 2 Timothy is an earnest entreaty for Timothy to remain faithful to his calling. Paul encourages Timothy to be bold in teaching sound doctrine, to present himself as a worker approved by God, and to have endurance in following Christ. Like Paul, we too are called “fight the good fight…finish the race…and keep the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7) in our own lives.

After Jesus rose from the dead, He ascended into heaven. He is seated at the right hand of God until He will return to the earth to judge the living and the dead. Then there will be a new heaven and a new earth. But in the meantime, how does it help you that Jesus is in heaven? This reading plan gives you four answers to this question.

Why is it so hard to be the husbands, fathers, and friends we so desperately want to be? How do we live out true masculinity in our culture today? Over the next five days, we’ll be looking to Scripture to teach us how to be servant kings—absolutely surrendered to God and ready to be a man in every area of our lives.
