Psalm 102:7

Are you familiar with sleepless nights? When you can count sheep all you want, but nothing happens? I've been there many times, both when I was struggling with depression and afterward. I'd like to share my experiences and thoughts with you in this upcoming series.

Psalm 103 is a typical Psalm of Praise. In this Psalm, the Psalmist is calling on the people of God to give thanks and praise to God for God’s past blessings, God’s present blessings, and God’s promised future eternal blessings.

Loneliness is a part of the human condition but the Lord tells us that we don’t have to feel lonely if we trust in Him, seek Him, and let Him give us strength, comfort, and love.  This week we look into how to embrace His promises so that we don’t have to feel lonely because He is always with us!

Sometimes problems seem insurmountable, like a steep rock rising right in front of us. Where do we find help then? Psalm 121 helps us find the answer: “My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”
