To avoid a life of destructive reaction, we must learn to watch and wait for the Lord. This divine watching and waiting is a lethal combination to defeat compulsive and impetuous decision-making. Watching for God places us in His presence, where we will be strengthened and empowered for life.

Every season has its own way of displaying the beautiful handiwork of God. As we move into fall and see vibrant shades of red, yellow, and orange leaves dancing in the wind, we can also hear a persistent and gentle whisper—a subtle call for us to reflect and retreat into God’s Word. It’s the perfect time to grab a warm mug of coffee, settle in your favorite spot, and Fall into Devotion.

Among the Psalms there is a grouping of fifteen called the “Songs of Ascent.” Lift Off is a 21-day journey through these psalms designed to bring you closer to God as you remember His faithfulness. Each day in this plan contains a psalm, a devotional, and a prayer. Two days are built into each week for prayer and reflection.
