Hebrews 7:26

While the Old Testament priest advocated for the people before God, he was still a sinner. Christ, on the other hand, is our sinless high priest who has nevertheless walked in our shoes, experienced our temptations, and felt an earned and complete sympathy for us. He is not only priest but sacrifice, purchasing our forgiveness; and not only does He forgive, but His Spirit transforms us. He is indeed a Great High Priest!

All of Christianity rests on this one single truth – Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. Because He lives, you can count yourself fully alive to God, no longer mastered by sin, but living through the power of grace.

This reading plan is ideal for family devotions and will remind readers of the importance of including the Lord in everything they do. Each devotion includes an opportunity for family members to discuss their day, a thought for the day, a family activity, a prayer, a “random act of kindness” and a Scripture verse.
