Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And as they divided His garments, they cast lots.

And Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you today, you shall be with Me in paradise.”

Then he said to Jesus, “Remember me, Lord, when You come into Your kingdom.”

And after crying out with a loud voice, Jesus said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” And when He had said these things, He expired.

And when they came to the place called Place of a Skull, there they crucified Him and the malefactors, one on the right and one on the left.

Now it was about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was split down the middle.

Now after seeing the things that took place, the centurion glorified God, saying, “Truly, this Man was righteous.”
